BARNSLEY keeper Heinz Muller is on the verge of a dream move to Arsenal. The German, 30, is expected to make the £1million switch now he has proved his fitness following a serious knee injury. Muller impressed Arsene Wenger with a string of top-class performances and will replace Jens Lehmann as No.2 keeper at the Emirates.
Not This Rumour Again I'd we kept him for such a small fee. If he went for that it makes it look to other clubs that they can raid our better players on the cheap.
Good move for him. Keepers don't go for that much money. Be sad to see him go if true but can't think of a better club
As long as they don't send that pillock we had on loan....... back to us, I forget his name, dropped the worst goalkeeping bollock of all time at Oakwell.
Yeah, Fabianski was starting the last few games, Wouldn't mind them sending us him, looks to be a decent prospect. Slightly surprised that they wouldn't use him as number 2 from what he's shown.
if he's going to go to arsenal we should at least try and add a pre season friendly to the deal, a bit of glamour before the season kicks off rather than rotherham
Where has this story come from? If true i think he would make a very good number 2 at Arsenal, well worth the gamble by Wenger. If he goes I hope we get more than a million for him worth much more than a million!
Well if he is going to Arsenal on the cheap because a clause in him contract, why dont we try and get 1 or 2 of there youth squad on a season long loan as part of the deal, a sort of sweetener!! I'm not one for bringing in young lads from big clubs to give them experience, but Arsenals youth set up is different. The youngers their have shown in the carling cup that they are more than able to compete at this level
RE: As long as they don't send that pillock we had on loan....... He dropped 1 the game after against Luton at Oakwell he came for a cross and more or less dropped it on Brkovic's head it gave Luton the 3 points
