A classic quote from some pillock behind us........ 'steele must be wondering what he has to do to get his place back'
Couldn't believe it when he tried to do it again, been really disapointed with muller since coming back
and he is right isnt he? Steele must be wondering how many mistakes muller can make before he loses his place
same here cost us a goal on saturday and ultimately a point by his poor decision making. Oh and muller, open your hands and catch it instead of punching it to an attacker
RE: same here Based on what mate? if anyone is to blame for the goal was Colace IMO, i do feel that Muller tried some idiotic things Saturday and it could have cost us. apart from Sat and the Ipswich games i do feel he has been a key member of the team. Now i do feel sorry for Luke, but he has to take it on the chin and wait for another chance to get in the team.
RE: same here What is all this punching the ball out all about?? I remember when David Watson went through an unsuccessful phase of doing the same thing. It's very frustrating
I feel muller was to blame for the goal as he allowed the ball to go straight across him inside his 6 yard box, had that been colgan who had allowed it to go past he would have been blamed for staying on his line. A similar incident happened a few minutes before that when Muller came for a ball then changed his mind leaving their player with a free header which he fortunatly put just wide. Add those two incidents to the one where the ball came in and he punched it poorly straight to their player who somehow managed to slice it out for a throw-in. Muller should have caught that ball but instead he put us back into danger by punching again. Then you have to look at the ones where he thought he was a sweeper and tried taking on everyone on the pitch TWICE and you realise that he was a liability on saturday. He has had a few bad games since his return so he should be dropped to remind him that he isn't god as he must feel he is at the moment, was brought to the club and instantly replaced a keeper that had done nothing wrong, came back from injury and instantly replaced a keeper that had done nothing wrong. Needs reminding that he has an excellent player challenging him for the shirt.
I assume that either he can't catch so doesn't try to do it unless he has no choice or that he feels it might help set us off on a run, unfortunatly it just gives the ball away and puts us back under pressure.
RE: I assume It never sends us off on a run though, just gives the opposition another chance to attack as a punch doesn't give far enough clearance. Steele back for me please
agreed also I thought that Muller showed bad decision making when he had the ball in his hands as well, he had a few instances where he should have thrown the ball out to the wingers but kept hold of it and instead hit a long punt up to mostto instead.
