What went wrong at Oakwell for the lad,he,s been outstanding for us.

 

I think we said he was too small, or one of our old managers did. He did well for us as well, I was disappointed to see him go.

 

i wasn't sad to see him go. he was an arrogant little pillock.

Peter Ridsdale let him go

I have an interview with Peter Ridsdale in which he states that there were "other aspects" (not directly relating to footballing ability) that led to his release. Make of that what you will.

Maybe his dad's given him a scutch and told him to stay out of the boozer.

He was once stretching out in front of us when we scored up the other end. He looked up the pitch, smiled briefly and carried on chatting with his chums. I was glad to see the back of him.
