Work are sending me to Munich for a few days (along with my boss :frown:)

Anyone familiar with the place, maybe suggest a few things to do if I get the chance.

wouldn't mind going to a Bayern game if they play mid-week. Anyone know if you can pay on the gate?

    Ta in advance

It's a bit grim but you could always pay a visit to the concentration camp at Dachau which is only a few miles out of the city. It's a lot more sanitised than Auschwitz (cleaned up by the Germans of course) but still worth a visit.

The city is interesting for its architecture and surrounded by magnificent scenery. I'd be surprised if you could get in to see Bayern play - probably sold out for every game, but I suppose if you have any corporate connections you might get one.

I went for a long weekend at end of July beautiful city. Definitely try the Dachau concentration camp worth a visit and an eye opener. Also, Olympic Stadium is worth a visit normally a carnival type festival on outside there and next door to BMW museum. I also went to an 1860 game quite cheap as well around 20 euros and it's a trip to Allianz and also a engineering museum next to the river which is huge.
