I didn't intend to watch it but I have been watching it and I've got to admit I have started to change my opinion on him. The bit about Dunblane was very emotional.
I think people like to have ago at anyone who does well in England/ Britain You had nothing more than banter in there and the journalist have something to target him with. Back on to my comment from the other day. People should just get behind everyone that's British or English
It's not as simple as that Phil, teams / players have to win the hearts and minds of the public to get support. I'm no tennis fan but I get the feeling that Murray is starting to win people over.
because he's getting things like that. I bet most sports men are good people off the court. They aren't going to be on the court, they are there to win.
Never had time for Murray since he said he was Scottish and wanted England to lose in the World Cup. Not hat I doubt his talent. Great tennis player, much better than Henman.
And how many English people would want Scotland to win a game? I actually do as I like all home nations to do well, but most folk I know don't. He only said it to wind people up anyway.
He's lost his edge and any chance of winning Wimbledon. The saccharine, vomitous Tory middle-Englanders have taken him to their hearts and removed his balls. I much preferred the snarling belligerent Scot, it was honest. He'll win abroad, but never here. Sue Barker and John Inverdale, it's like an episode of the fcking Good Life. Who can compete with those fluffy, grinning idiots snapping at your ankles?
I've always liked Murray from day one, why was it that people didn't like him? just curious (i've not started watching the documentary yet)
he made a comment in a press conference saying he supports who England play in the world cup. What they didn't say was Henman had given him stick over Scotland before that.
I turned over to watch The Who a bit ago so not sure what I'm missing now. What I will say is that watching Moon and co in one of their greatest ever performances is making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I've seen The Who live four times, sadly never with Moon, but their performances are always mesmerising. The best live band ever in my humble opinion.
Nothing more than banter to a friend. We've all done it, me you anyone. It's just that he's in front of a camera and press that want to slag him off.
If you watched anything at 10pm last night other than The Business you need to take a serious look at yourself.
