Matthew Murray @matthewmurray87 2m Looks like Plymouth midfielder Conor Hourihane is signing for Barnsley today. Deal agreed, so I'm told... Good news.
It is good news. Howard may well still sign, and people have been debating how good of a signing he would be, but I wouldn't have expected the club to arrange a press conference for him. A promising 23 year old, who we've submitted at least 3 bids for, I would.
I think it'd be a great signing. Along with Hemmings it shows that we're looking for some quality this window. On the Howard note, I wouldn't mind seeing him back, try to get back to fitness, and add some experience to the young, hungry squad it looks like we're trying to build.
Sorry. I know how disheartening it is when you lose good players. I hope you got a decent price for him.
My point his what is point ?. We just can't build as a club because we can't hold on to any decent players for longer then 12 months, sounds like we're getting a really good player here I still can't get excited about it because mi season ticket will last longer then him, if he's as good as pafc fans say he is
A Plymouth fan other day posted on here and made him sound good and thought championship clubs would come in for him. Box to box midfielder who scores goals and likes to tackle. Next Redders
So what do you suggest we do then? Only sign bad players we know nobody else will want, or not sign any players at all. You were crying out for signings last month. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Adopt a policy like Peterborough united 3 year minimum contract to all new signing they seem to do alright.
A year longer then what we'd have got him on then, I thought that Bellend chairman of theirs said on talksport they only sign players on three year deals when they've paid a fee must have changed his mind the lovely person
Who is to say he's signing for 12 months? Even if he is, we dont know how it is structured and what else is in there regarding signing extensions etc.
What was that fat bar steward called? Mido? Glad we didn't give that c^nt a 3 year contract for a start. Grow up.
