My youngest daughter leaves Primary School this year. As part of the end of year celebrations, I've offered to put together a presentation of photos of all the kids in Yr6; from when they started at school, to when they leave. The slide show will have each of the kids on 5 or 6 times, plus group shots, and all the memories during the time they've grown up together... School Assemblies, Sports Days, Parties, etc. The idea is to give a lasting reminder of their time at Primary School. I need a few backing tracks to accompany the slide show. So far, I have One More Step Along The World I go (A traditional Primary School song) My Wish - by Rascal Flatts (one for the parents to get all emotional to) but I need another one or two, more up to date ones, that the kids might like and know . Something positive, about moving on, or looking back with happy memories, or about friendship. I can't have Greenday "Time of Your Life", but any other suggestions welcome.
Coldplay - Sky Full of Stars Regardless of weather you like the song (or band), it's great for a backing track on a slide show. Especially if you time some of the group photos as the key change kicks in* * I used it for a montage of achievements by pub managers
I think this would fit

Thanks All. I'm leaning towards "Best day of My Life" American Authors. I'm afraid if I never here "Happy" again, it will make me very happy.
Very Americanized, and the verses probably aren't suitable, but the chorus of this song might be something.
