go to every game be 99% certain Celtic will at least get a point.

Far better players on the best and in the stand than the opposition have got playing.

Nice ground with a large support that goes all over the place.

At least one trophy a season ...

whereas i think it must be boring. only get any competition from one Club, and now they've even lost that. and they're almost guaranteed no success in europe

I just watched Commons put ball in net after a few minutes, heard all Celtic fans go barmy, and thought to myself how can they get excited watching this every week, it would bore the pants off me

The Premeirship is probably the BEST league in Europe

The Scottish version is the worst..........horrible Micky Mouse league

I've found the Premier League boring for about ten years now, it was much better in the 90's, I used to watch nearly all the televised games back then but they don't seem to have the same passion or entertainment factor these days. I don't know what it was about Monday nights but there were some amazing games on Monday's in the 90's.

I would welcome Celtic and Rangers into our football league system as long as it wasn't to the detriment of any English clubs, and of course they'd have to start pretty far down the pyramid. Not sure where that would leave the league in Scotland though where I get the impression a lot of the income clubs get is related back in some way to the presence of the two Glasgow clubs through TV money that is cascaded down the leagues and the increased attendances when they play them.

I always thought Kevin Bridges summed up scottish football perfectly. A two-horse race that lost a horse.

Sounds **** to me! Part of what I like most about football is the unpredictable nature of the game, especially in the Championship.

The SPL bores the life out of me, but then it'd be the same if I supported any team that went in to every game expecting to win, and usually did. Where's the excitement in that?

We have this debate every so often on this site don't we. It follows a similar pattern. I've a season ticket at Celtic Park as well as one in the Ponty. Been going to the 'Well since 74 and up to Glasgow since 89.

Some of the earlier comments miss the similarity between both experiences ie. when I go to Glasgow I expect (and usually do) see Celtic win. That's the same for European matches as much as it is for the SPL. In recent years when I watch the Reds - Home or Away, regardless of the competition, I expect us to lose - and we usually do. So yeah - certainly consistent in that sense.

The biggest reason for watching games at Celtic Park is just the atmosphere and sense of occasion. It really is something else. Better than anything I've experienced anywhere in the world.Through my rose tinted specs I imagine when I was growing up with the Reds (Banks, Glavin et al) I imagined it was something similar. Of course it wasn't but it was certainly noisier and travelling to every game was a real thrill. The belief that we could take on teams and beat them. The atmosphere at home games and indeed at most games in England (Premier League or not) is just dire. As for the comment about the Premier League being the best in Europe, every game is competitive, etc...!!! dear me; I'll resist commenting on that one. Oh and the quality of the SPL? yeah have to admit now; it is pretty awful.

Commins fell out of favour at Forest abd went to Derby, fell out of favour at Derby and was even linked with us before turning down a number of similar sides to us to go to Celtic on a free.

Anthony Stokes for Sheff Utd reject. Went there for a move but hardly played and was sent back, after failed loans at other championship sides when trying to get a move.

It's a bit of a stretch to talk about how they're doing it with rejects when in actual fact only TWO players have ever played for the clubs mentioned and one was bought by celtic while the other was only ever on loan at any of the mentioned clubs

The SPL has to be the most boring and pointless league in the world.
