quite simply he's made for this league,so he'll make mistakes and give penalties away but overall he will work at this level we need his physical side
I wouldn't say he's the best defender but then again Crainie & Nyatanga are far from perfect. What I do think is that he is dominant in the air and that's what we will need in 90% of the games in this league. I'd play him and if he'd been in the side last week we'd have at least had a point on the board now.
I wouldn't say first name, but I really rate Jean Yves M'Voto. We've wanted a dominant centre half for ages and now we've got one. Cranie made quite a few mistakes on Tuesday night and doesn't have the ariel threat that M'Voto has. Nyatanga has been a disappointment so far for us, that said he looked decent in preseason. I think we have 3 centre half's who are all good and I wouldn't be worried about relying on any of them. I just think we need to try and get a settled partnership. I've just realised that I've missed Brown, who was very good on Tuesday night and has the potential to be better than the other 3. I would much rather see him at centre half than at right back.
