Fair enough putting someone else upfront, but surely anyone is better than him?

I stand corrected, almost scored from a header. Great save apparantly!!

It'll serve them right if a gilt-edged chance drops to him and he spoons it out for a throw in.

Every ball played up field high in the air was mopped up by their central defenders, it was worth a try giving him a go he managed to get an header in and a flick on which no one reacted to.

Maybe the first time all season he's looked like nearly scoring with an header. Brilliant save it was at full stretch. Bit defeatist of Melon though to put a defender on and then up front when we are home to the next worse team in our league and only drawing. At that very moment if our board weren't sure one way or another if they were to give Melon the job full time, that decision will have been the turning point. No chance of getting it now.

I said , in my utter disbelief that MVoto was playing Centre Forward, that this would kill Mellon's chances of the job; just so desperate. And then 30 seconds later he produced the great header that none of our strikers or midfielders had got in all game which 8/10 times would've got a goal .

    Still, bizarre

To be fair he got more chances than Tudgay and Pedersen did put together, and was it not for a great save from their keeper, he'd have scored with a fine header late on.
