I refuse to post the same day anymore, be it after a defeat or victory - we dont do draws. I feel its better to let the result and performance sink in, and to digest things, rather than steaming on ere within moments of the final whistle and adding your thoughts in the heat of those moments. I think its for the best, for me anyway, and would be a good tactic for some others on ere who have mouths where I have an arse-hole..

The weather was gash yesterday. The performance by and large was gash also. The crowd/atmosphere was just as gash, and the officiating was. . . . . yes - gash.
    Twas all gash yesterday...
    .
Tactics? There seemed none to me. We didnt have any width on either side, particularly the right where Sir Bob - who was gash for once - was seemingly playing RB, RM, RW and CH. Whoever was meant to be playing ahead of him, chose not to. Dagnall or Davies probably. One cant play wide, one looked unfit, you decide which is which.
On the left, Vaz Te didnt do the defensive side of his game, and found it hard enough to stand up the numpty. On that showing, he'd be lucky to get a move to Fylde nemind Blackpool.. although, scarily, he was still our only threat.
So that surely left JaysCrap without cover then yes? No. Jay had Perks and McNulty doing his defending for him, again, which left a gap that Hendo exploited time and again by dropping off and feeding Feeney who gave Jay a torrid time - who doesnt?
Foster was a close second to Jay in the ****-stakes. Bullied, out-thought and out-fought by Hendo who had the ref in his pocket throughout. The clever tricks (dirty? gamesmanship?) from Darius were on show as usual - an elbow ere, a tug there, theatrics everywhere. And the League 1 ref had no idea, and bought every trick on show.
As bad as we were, the fact is, that once we got it away from our left, and Addison took hold of midfield, we gained a little momentum. Bobby made a great run found by a bad ball from Vaz, showed great feet and had his shot blocked. We broke wide a few times, Perks did what JaysCrap couldnt and played a great cross in. Gray was doing ok, and I could see us getting that first key goal. But nowt materialised, and after a dodgy free-kick was given, a ball was lumped into our box, Miles leant on Trotter, who went down like an whore. Of course, the numpty lino bought it. 1-0, and game over. When do we ever come back?
And when Foster was out-paced and out-fought by Hendo, for 2-0, it was certainly game over..

I thought Steele, Perkins, Addison (before the goals) McNulty and Gray were decent. The rest were not at the races. But only McEveley and Foster deserve highlighting IMO. And tbf to Steve, its a one-off. With Jay, its a one-on, or sumat. He is a liability, and Keith's doing himself no favours by picking him. He even took Bob off for Wisey instead - bizarre. You will go down in my estimations Keithy if you continue to pick the MAJOR weak-link in our side.
I thought Millwall deserved 3 pts.
    And we move on :D

Some good points in there but a few things I disagree with, we didn't keep the ball enough and the midfield and attack have to take some responsibility for that. Not keeping hold of the ball puts extra pressure on the defence this always ends with defence being critised right or wrong I can't say on yesterday showing.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Jay Mac, Sir Bobby and Stephen Foster all gone in the summer.
