yesterday was the most unjust result ever to have ever been seen... we outfought them, outplayed them and basically made them look the ordinary side that they are.... ritchie couldn't have done anything better other than 2 things... devaney was at fault for their goal, he fecked up, and never chased their player who was then "free". was never in the game and should have been replaced earlier than he was, and should have been replaced with macparland. (from the start). put the above change with nads starting instead of richards. it was obvious from the outset, the ref had a problem with ALL the team, never mind just Nads. Their goal was a fluke on the plus side, it was great to see the fans give the appreciation they deserved. comments outside the ground from huddersfield fans include.... 1) how the hell we won that I will never know. 2) Barnsley are far the best side to come here this season. 3) we have nothing to fear now, they were obviously the best side left we had to play. I will even hold my hands up (seen as I have slated him for months now) and say well done shuker, you played well yesterday, unlucky with the shot off the bar (very), but should have buried the one in the first 5 mins. Overall, very please with the EFFORT (young nudger), this is the effort we have been missing. the ONLY thing to let us down yesterday was richards and his finishing. everyone else can hold their heads up high. Only thing worrying me now (apart from oldham obviously) was how Howard was when the full time whistle went. He was clearly distraught, and hopefully it will not reflect in the next few games. One thing is for sure, if we manage to play like that until the ned of the season but get some finishing boots on, we will be in their.... Training should be simple this week. Shooting. Shooting on Target. Hitting the Target. Shoot. Target. ...and the ONLY thing worrying me right now, is Scoring goals. The most important time of the season and we can't find the net.

You forgot to mention Devaney again. He was at fault for their goal and should have been replaced a lot earlier as he was totally inneffective on the day.
The problem is though that for much of the season (apart from isolated hot spots)our finishing has been abysmall.... much worse than our rivals.The worrying thing in particular for me is our inablity to hit the yarget for a lot of these,the keeper should have at least been made to work.That is one of the main things for me that Ritchie got wrong big time,rather than bring in competition for this and other key areas he signed two left sided players one of whom he rates enough for bit parts and the other is never seen.
