On the way back to manchester train station last night I called at a shop for a few bits for the journey home, upon leaving there was a homeless guy outside...a few of us gave him a couple of quid and walked off but I felt I wanted to see this bloke right for the night so I turned back round and gave him what was in my pocket about £7.50, the look in his eyes was priceless, god knows what it was spent on but to know I'd put a smile on someone's face was well worth it....

Maybe so and if it was I hope he thought of me giving him my last few quid in my pocket when he drunk it too!

not knocking your act of kindness Sir

and I apologise if you feel I was. In fact I have done stuff like that very often before, there are many homeless on the streets of the cities and larger towns. I normally ask when they last ate. then I pop into the nearest Fast food and get 'em a burger and a coffee. Oh and summat for the dog too, down here they all seem to have a dog.
