He slated a guy for sending him a letter........... in which he said Ritchie had fielded a side with the intent of going out of the League cup, although Ritchie strongly denied the charge, for the 4,000 of us that were there, his rebuff is a weak one.
RE: He slated a guy for sending him a letter........... He also said that we were the better side and Nathan Jarman played well. Wrong and wrong again
RE: being too cheap to waste 2.50 on it what did he say? "I was accused of fielding a weakened team against MK Dons, which in my mind is nonsense. A back four of Neil Austin, Antony Kay, Dale Tonge and Robbie Williams is hardly one made up of reserve team players."</p> "Nobody wanted to win that game more than me"</p> Does anybody believe that? Anyone at all?</p>
I don't doubt he wanted to win.. sad thing is that quite a few of the players on show that night were not and will not be good enough. Including Austin and Williams
How many of those "stiffs" turned out this afternoon? I think Wroe made the bench - so presumably he was pushing for a start. "MOTM" Jarman was nowhere to be seen. Come on Andy. Fair's fair.....
