My biggest problem with Cardiff and other welsh teams...

being in the english league is that they still have everything dealt with the Welsh FA, like player bans etc. They also enter the welsh fa cup. They shouldn't be allowed the best of 2 worlds stick with one or the other!! (blagger)

 

If we had it our way we would ditch the Welsh Fa as they have never overturned an appeal for as long as I can remember and have none nothing to help the Europe thing. So infact your statement is wrong. Sorry.

 

it wasn't a statement it was an opinion, but the long and short of it is you should be in the welsh league with swansea, wrexham etc not in the English league

Was it just a rumour that Cardiff wanted the reserve team to play in the Welsh league OR Cup so could take I Europe spot that way?

 

Sorry BCF you are quite right, it is an opion and I hold my hand up to that.

Currently Cardiff have asked and been refused permission to allow a team into the Welsh League so they can play in Europe again. We used to but when the Welsh League started that stopped, at the time the hoolies were giving us all a bad name it was around the time of Heisel (sp).

Man Utd last week asked a similar question regarding their reseves playing in the lower Coca Cola's but for different reasons.

So just to clear this up, Cardiff would prefer to be gov'd by the English Fa (see press releases) we have English officials each match, never ever a Welsh one, we do play in both cups and I bore the pants off people who continue to take the time to read what I write. Just don't read it.

 

If premiership teams got reserves in the football leagues that would be the end of me watching football!
