They'd both got 3-1 Barnsley and Davies to score first, so when he fluffed that late chance, well lets just say, language was colourful.

Good win, against a Hull side unbeaten in 9, who particularly with Rob Koren in their team, look a decent outfit, and a fair shout for the play-offs. Credit to the back 4 who had a much better game tonight, particularly Wiseman, who was faultless in the 2nd half. Jay McEverly had another decent game, as he seems to be improving as he did last season a few games in.

The penalty, looked very suspect to me; think it was McNulty who gave it away, now you're always asking for trouble sticking a leg out in the box, and after the young lad mis-controlled the ball, he was only ever going to make the most of it. Justice done though when Steele (my man of the match), turned it onto the post.

Steele was in top form again today, making a string of excellent saves in the 2nd half, one in particular after a deflected shot seemed to be looping over him, very late in the day; his arm seemed to stretch and he managed to claw in out to Perkins who could clear.

My only real concern was of the finishing of our two strikers tonight, which might sound critical since they both scored, but both missed 2 golden chances each, and we really could have been out of sight, but on another day, we'll probably take these chances, and give someone a good hiding (Leeds again would be nice).

Overall, brilliant win, UP THE REDS
