Sent: 14 December 2005 00:14 To: Editor - The FA Subject: FA Cup Player of the Round Hi. Silly point maybe... Having just got back from Barnsley's 5-3 2nd round replay against Bradford I'd like to ask why the competition doesnt include replays (As it was decided already) I know i seem biased (Well i am lol..) But it seems a tad unfair that the players who have played so well tonight haven't had a chance to get selected. Any chance for it to be changed for Round 3? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Thanks for your email. It looked a tremendous game you went to. There are two main reasons why the player of the round competition does not include replays. During the early stages of the competition (extra-preliminary/preliminary etc), there is so little time between rounds that we would not have enough time to set up the voting before the the next round kicks in. Also, we wanted the competition to reward players who performed at the first time of trying. I hope this helps. Stay in touch. Ed.
I was also going to ask " why would he want you to stay in touch? Having said that...... It was the FA and with the goings on at SOHO square it could mean anything??? You didn't mail that bint who Sven and Palios had relations with? If so give me the email adress!!!
