:'( Set off all excited bus late, but never mind. Kids as giddy as anything, as they had been and looked at wembley in October on a visit to London. Drove into london past few Cardiff fans who on the whole were quite abusive towards our kids. Arrived at about 2.30pm went straight into the ground had 1 pint of dishwater sorry Lager, 1st and only 1 all day as the day was about us all enjoying it, we were there to watch the Football not get drunk(my views). We were sat in block 501 right on the segregation from the match kicking off the fans were taunting our kids, chanting, gesturing and being generally hateful and nasty. this is not what football is all about. 1 fan got evicted for trying to scramble the net to get to our fans. I did not think there was much atmosphere whether it as coz we were so close to the Cardiff fans, I have since watched on TV and it does seem to be Barnsley fans that you can hear but the fans around us were quiet but we made up for it. We had a good day but I personally think the atmosphere at the Liverpool or Chelsea match was far better( maybe coz we won) . Came out of the ground the coaches were hard to find, all had exhausts running the Cardiff fans were spitting at our fans and throwing things from above and generally being hateful, god if they hadn't won there would have been a riot I think. Yes Barnsley has bad supporters too and I told someone at the Chelsea match about their language that it was offensive. If you want more supporters at matches stop getting drunk falling all over the place showing yourself up and then maybe the fans may come back to watch the football and the game it used to be before al this rascist chanting and verbal abuse. Well done Barnsley on how far you got but disappointed not to have got to the final but good luck for the championship
