Of the last decade, Stephen Foster. Just heard the news and I apologise for starting a new thread, but generally gutted to see him go and that his last appearance was limping around upfront against Charlton.

Hugely underrated at times, he made players who played alongside him look better than they were. His reading of the game was excellent and he always gave his all.

    Thanks Stephen and good luck.

Good post ark, Fozzy is up there with the best BFC signings. I am still shocked we've let him go and it wouldn't surprise me to see him signed by another championship club.

agree ark. foz is a barnsley lej for me. more so though, because he left now. would he really be regarded in such honour, if he lingered on as a bench player, who saved us in some games, and cost us in others?

personally, i'd prefer to remember him as a stalwart. if his exit is a consequence of flicker's regime, i'll take that.

    cheers foz. lej

Just like when we let Paul Futcher go and he played 6 years for Grimsby at this level or Clive Baker who went to Ipwsich and played a couple of seasons in the Prem.
