What would be a major signing? For me a experienced striker would be the only major signing I'd be interested in.

in his barnsley world interview, he wants a midfielder who puts his foot in, has a great set piece delivery and scores goals, so will it be gerrard or lampard? also a big strong centre forward, didn't say if he wants 1 who actually scores goals
For me a major signing would be someone who knows where the net is and can consistently score goals for us something we have lacked for a while now! Hopefully Hume will be like a new signing for us but with him being out so long I think we can't expect miracles straight away from him, we do need a back-up keeper and some defensive cover but if we have a reliable goal scorer and we create our chances then I think we will be ok!
We only have 2 centre halves and 1 keeper Ok we have Hassel that can play in middle, but then who plays at fullback? Need another keeper for deffo and an attacking midfielder is also a necessity, strikers ? Well that goes without saying, but we have bloody loads of the on the books, not that they are much cop like.
