£360? That is very good value for a PC of that spec. I know somebody who was looking for a new PC so I'll ask them.

MDG you should have one now.

Jedstar I can't tell you at the moment I am staying at friends and the unit is in Wombwell, but that was about the price I found it on Ebay, just got the stuff at the right time for the right price.

    Re: Help needed....

B*** Hell!! Did it fall of the back of a lorry??

I have just started looking at PC desktops as my old (2005) HP Pavilion whilst having been high spec in its day (Dual Quad intel processors etc is well past its sell by date now- still uses XP pro) - Being a saddo old g*t I like GP2012 but it wont run on the HP due to graphic card constraints. I also use it for music Midi via a(SoundBlaster breakout box and Studio multitrack software so need spare IDE slot capacity. Don't need a huge amount of HDD but a good graphics card would be a must as well as good fast MB and lots of useable fast RAM.

I currently hook up my Samsung laptop so I can run F1 it but piggy back it off the PC to get the surround sound working . This hacks my wife off as the laptop is our only portal to iPlayer/t'internet as we now live in Italy and I don't have Sky.
All the big name PC gaming machines I have seen are £600+ and more like £1k+ for Intel i5 with decent high end HD graphics and good PSU and cooling.
Specialist gaming machines are even more expensive. What /where/can I go to get something decent for around £5-700 (preferably with a reasonable HD 21-3 inch monitor) that has a bit of built in obsolescence without too many bells and whistles? I can put my existing SoundBlaster card etc in and have my existing mouse kybd . Don't need masses of HDD space. Would like Windows 7 Home premium too as not fond of Windows 8 from what I have seen/heard.
I used to make up my own and also build configure Compaq servers as part of my work but I am hopelessly out of touch with what is out there nowadays and suppliers particularly here in Italy.

    Re: Help needed....

Tekkytyke Nah not off a lorry, I used to build high end PC set ups and fix them in home as well but no one wants to pay for good stuff anymore so gave it up, a lot of the stuff I had in and got the motherboard and chip at a right price. I also which may help you got a Win7 Pro off Ebay that is a Dell version but will go on any computer and it is legal with seriel no etc.
