My first game yesterday... some thoughts.

We could have and maybe should have been buried by half time.
Apart from the one effort that hit the post, and the 3 goals that i missed, how many chances did we create in the game up to that last ten minutes?
Possibly NONE.
I witnessed a defensive nightmare. Sorry, but who is that number 2 ? Outplayed, out thought, outclassed every time their winger came anywhere near him. MK's tactics against him were obvious. Number 2 looked lost.
Well, that Hemmings is no Chris O'grady, is he.
Beyond that I have no idea who the other players are, apart from Cranie and Nyatanga. They all look so small and fragile.
Nobody stood out.
Years ago we had a tiny set of players and we got overrun often. We need some muscle in the side.
Well done to MK, they were a good side. I thought their number 22, or was it 23, ran the show. All effort and skill.
However it does my spirit no good to have to admit that we were well beaten by a team from Milton Keynes. Doesn't sound too good does it when you say it like that !
