since Huddersfield and I was quite surprised. After reading the BBS to catch up I was expecting a performance lacking in skill, devoid of any attacking ideas and a team playing without any confidence. What I saw was a team full of confidence playing some fantastic attacking football and with better finishing and a little luck should have been out of sight. The Charlton first goal was in my opinion very lucky but gave them some impetous. The second appeared offside but that's football win some lose some.Although very disappointed with the result I don't think we're that far from been a very competitive Championship team. One thing I would have done was when Mellis went off I would have replaced him with Cywka instead of Digby and kept the same shape.Still early days but I saw more positives than negatives.
A few more positives to take away from today. Not the result we wanted, or Charlton particularly deserved. At least we had a goal threat today. Taking Mellis off was the turning point for me. Would have brought Tompole on instead of Digby. COG and Scotland were isolated the last 15 mins.
We looked much better today than we did against Wigan, and especially Blackpool. Not sure what happened today, they barely threatened before their goal.
