Here goes I have been watching Barnsley since 1977 and have backed every single player and manager in that time through all the highs and lows. But after last nights performance this has to end now. I can no longer back the manager OR the players that we have at the club, we have too many overpaid under achieving individuals. We have decent players don't get me wrong but for some reason the don't play well together week in and week out. Our manager chops and changers players like it doesn't matter, plays people out of position when my 9 year old daughter can spot these errors even though Simon cannot. Simon Davey is a decent guy and I wish him well, I don't hate him and never will but it is time to move on before it is too late. I will never slate our players like some people do and I understand their frustration, but I believe Simon Davey is making these players worse than they are. We can depend on just 2 or 3 players at the moment and when they have a bad game the full squad suffers! Simon Davey has had 4 games this season and still has not picked the strongest starting 11 that we could pick with our eyes closed. I am glad we are away on saturday because I for one need a rest from this utter trip that is being served to us, whether it be season ticket holders, or part time supporters we must persuade Patrick to do something quickly in a non confrontational way. Sorry for my rant but had to say something.
I have said all along Its not that Davey is not a decent man. For me he is concientious and hard working and loyal. However he has a lot to learn regarding Management. I have said before that regardless of the quality of players he signs or is already at the club they will never play to thier full potential under Davey.
