from The Mirror NOEL: MY HARDSHIP By Fiona Cummins 20/07/2007 NOEL Edmonds is facing "severe financial pain" after his business went into receivership with debts of almost £3million. The star of Deal or No Deal will not be made personally bankrupt but may have to sell some assets. Edmonds, 58, who has a personal fortune of more than £70million, is furious he is being pursued now that his TV career is back on track with the hit Channel 4 show. He said: "I am going through severe financial pain, but it is a matter of principle for me." Edmonds is involved in a long-running row with Lombard, an arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Due to a complex series of arrangements with the finance firm, he will suffer personally from the company's collapse. His spokesman said: "When he reappeared on the TV again, the bank thought they could pursue him for the debt. Noel is very bullish about it."
Did anything come of that... ...business of running two cars on the same number plate ? Saw it in the Sunday paper a few weeks ago !
RE: Did anything come of that... Apparently, he was seen driving one car in the UK and one in France, on the same day, with the same French number plate. Two photos in the Mail on Sunday.
