    Sadly That's True

Hopefully one day our crowds will be high enough to justify missing out on the Wendy payday.

    no it is not true

People are very short sighted in saying that having wednesday in our division is important for us financially. It is not. We stand to gain a lot more financially by them being in a lower league than us.

If they are in league one and us in the championship how many of the young kids in barnsley or the floaters are going to choose to support them over us? not many. How many of those floaters and kids in rotherham are going to choose wednesday in league one? Not many, they will instead choose one of the other sides. Championship Barnsley maybe?

Wednesday down will make us a lot more money than one game against them in the championship
