My knackered Laptop

    The screen doesn't come on when i turn the thing on, and there's loads of stuff on it i need. I'm going to claim for another one but need the files this week as i do a fair amount of work on it.

    Can i just plug a monitor into it and start it up to get all my stuff off of it?

    Get an adaptor to put the hard drive into a pc and backup from there if everything else fails.
