My lhasa apso bitch has just ate a frog/toad

    I let my bitch out for a wee around 20 minutes ago and i saw a frog/toad - im certain it was. and she was sniffin n then was vigourusly shaking her head n started froffing from her mouth. but im worried because she is a new mum and has 5 pups, all 11 days old.
    what should i do? i need help urgently please!! will she be ok? ....

    She was froffing from the mouth and is very laid back and quite now? and u think pups will be ok when they're feeding from her?

    If in doubt try and get hold of a vet, but I think she'll be reight with rest.

    I would have rung the vet and asked their advice, ive got a Lhasa and love her to bits .Let us know how she gets on.

    Rang the vet, she said to just rinse her mouth with water and she fine this morning feeding the pups.. im relieved :)

    Had a Shitzhu crossed with a poodle. Loved to eat tinned fruit. Previously had a fox terrier that ate Spanish Onions.
