All im guna say is that season ticket holders dont rule and own the club!!!! They mite spend 250 quid at the start of the season to show their support, but by the time we have played 12 home games i will have spent more than them. Do the season ticket holders only want 7000 reds fans at Wembley, which would make us look *****?? Or do they want 30000 there to get behind the reds and create an atmosphere. People have situations y they cant get a season ticket, or attend every week, so does that make them less a fan than the 'special ones' does it f**k!! At the end of the day we are all on the same side here, get behind the reds and stop slagging each other off!! End of Rant, thank you.
I want real Barnsley fans to go to wembley Not having a go at non-ST ppl, Im having a go at ppl that have only been to the Chelsea game and proberbly wont go to another game in ages if we lose the semi. And yes if we ave only got 7k fans then so be it. We are a small town, no history, no money - don't be ashamed of it.
Well you're the one slagging people off so take a look at yourself before you start on others!
ST holders pay their money up front, sight unseen. If the season turns out to be ***** will you still spend more than me? Or after half a dozen games will you be at Meadowhell shopping on a Setdi?
I buy an ST because it suits me and it suits the club - without STs where do you think the money comes from during the summer months? Bills still have to be paid.
And finally, after all that I agree with you - we are all fans, we make different choices but at the end of the day we all want the same thing. I don't go slagging others off for doing things differently to me, and I don't expect others to have a go at me for the same reason.

RE: I want real Barnsley fans to go to wembley You are living in cloud cuckoo land mate if you think that such a scenario is even possible, whether that is what you want or not. People are going to take the chance of going for the day out and that's that. Footabll is an entertainment industry and people will turn up for the big ones. If you were a regular theatre goer and it was normally half empty when some local amateur dramatic society was putting on a play they wrote themselves, would you then start moaning because people turned up in large numbers to watch Saturday Night Fever or some such big production? Personally, I wish that the whole of South Yorkshire could go and support the Reds - I would be proud that they were all supporting my club.
RE: spent 30 seasons paying on the gate, and now I am one of the lesser ones I think you'll find Wawsam was pointing out that people weren't lesser ones if they don't have a ST. So the (wnkr) is not required.
"Do the season ticket holders only want 7000 reds fans at Wembley?" Given the complaints on here about them buying for friends and family then I guess not!
no i will be there every game mate win lose or draw another little skit at non-st holders were u at plymuff the other tuesday???....... thort not!!! i was!

Oh dear, you have got a chip on your shoulder haven't you?
I wasn't having a go at you, or at non-ST holders in general. Like I said, if you read it again, we're all supporters all wanting the same thing. I don't give a flying fook whether you have an ST or not - if you support the Tarn then you're a brother in arms.
If you want to see it differently, that's your problem mate.
