Firstly I was only 6 ! and I didn't go to the match... to be honest at that point I was not that interested in football, I have been told I actually disliked it, but (I can't remember much of this it's what I've been told) I think a few weeks before my dad had tried to explain to me just what was going on and how important the coming match would be. I showed no interest in going, a decision I suppose I regret but like I said I just wasn't interested in the game. In the end I was convinced to listen to the match, and while I began the match probably wanting to be doing something else, but by the time Clint scored I was jumping around the room. It was after that ninety minutes of tension that seemed obvious even in our front room I got more into Barnsley FC, me and my dad went to see a couple of games in the Prem season and having gradually been to see more and more games I eventually got a season ticket. In all probability if Bradford had taken one of their chances, or Clint had not scored, I might never have decided to go to Oakwell in the first place, and would have missed out on Cardiff, and many other thoroughly enjoyable matches (Leeds and Birmingham just from this year etc.) even if I missed the biggest one of all.
