    ....no, I think it's utterly bizarre as well. I remember Danny Baker once compared it with leaving the cinema five minutes before the end of the film, which pretty much hits the nail on the head I think.

    I think he even left early at the Chelsea game. Don't see the point in going if you're THAT keen to get home</p>

    We say the same about it.....worse is when they start going and then stop right in front of you, blocking your view, because something is happening on the pitch, and you have to tell them to shift.
    I wonder if they turn the TV off 5 mins before the end of a programme as well.
