Called at a pub in the afternoon, they said they would probably showing Man utd !, so walked through muddy woods for 3 mile, waited 45 mins for a train to Barmouth. out of the 4 pubs only one was showing footie and as you can probably guess it was Man utd.

In said pub got talking to a young family of Everton fans who were equally frustrated, anyway off i sulked set off walking the 7 miles or so back towards the campsite, when said Everton fan pulled up and gave me a lift after i had walked about a mile and a half (top man).

I thought i would call in the pub that i called in the afternoon, again Man Utd were on but i spied a couple who were watching us on their phone via Sky go.

Got talking to them they were from Wakey and Liverpool fans ! i sat talking and supping with them and when the Utd game finished i asked the barman to switch channels .

The upshot to all my ramblings is i was and still am immensely proud of that performance, lets hope it's not after the lord mayors show on Setdy

    You Reeeeeeeeeds
