police have been in touch asking for full details and asking if she be willing to go to court...
she was livid at half time as young son was with us and the atmos was ruined by the entertainment../poo

So Let Me Get This Right........

Two 17 yearold girls wish to make a name for themselves in the industry. Grown men, louts, pissheads etc in the away end were disrespectful to the girls FIRST by booing them when they were trying to sing. I think our fans were as in the wrong as the girls for retaliating.

was a stupid decsion to put them on in that game. and of course they would be booed but a few but to swear over the pa system at us all then to give us hand gestures is going to cause a riot.

I agree its not fair for your son to hear some young lasses shouting "**** off" down a mic loud and clear. Shocking... but most of the barnsley fans reacted, and it was just as bad for your son to listern to.

They should have been cut off before they'd even started. I think it made the atmosphere even better me sen, best half time entertaiment i've ever heard.

 

Maybe their record company (assuming they have one) would be interested to know as well...

 

i find it more the principle than the actual offence

if a player had given those hand gestures they would be action taken and swearing directly down the mic was just bang out of order. though i do accept that anyone taken a child to that sort of game has to expect heaving swearing and chanting all round unfortunate fact of life im afraid

 

The girls were being booed by many simply because of where they are from we all know it. Wow two girls swore because HUNDREDS were being horrible to them first BIG DEAL get over it and lets move on. Reporting the girls for something that football fans do alot more of is silly. Did your wife report the Barnsley fans for swearing and generally trying to provoke a reaction as well ?

 

The difference is that they were paid to perform at the game therefore a certain standard of behaviour should be expected of them. What they did was unacceptacle and could have caused a public order situation.

If they want to be performers, they have to be able to deal with this sort of thing.

Hell, I've seen G4 constantly booed by 60-odd thousand fans during a half time England game at Old Trafford, and they carried on (they are sh*te though)

Seeing as though she said F'off as soon as she ran on the pitch- perhaps this is just them trying to get some publicity for their 3rd rate club band.
