After much thought I have decided I will not be attending the FA Cup Quarter Final against Manchester City. I was in Canada when we played Burnley, but I made absolutely no effort to attend either Hull City or MK Dons, so I feel it would be rather hypocritical of me to use my season ticket to get a Manchester City ticket when my attendance this season has been so poor, and non existent in terms of the FA Cup. I still hope we fecking batter them though, obviously.
If you are a season ticket holder I don't see any hypocrisy in attending the City match. But if you are adamant, I will happily alleviate you of the burden of guilt.
Guessing there is some sarcasm in the original post but you can bet your life at least a few hundred people who haven't seen barnsley live since wembley will end up with tickets through various means
I sincerely hope not; it really hacks me off the plastic glory fans manage to get tickets and genuine fans who go regularly (pay on the gate fans included) miss out. I wonder if our most famous plastic glory fan (Goughie) will be there.
No sarcasm whatsoever, I'm not going. It would be very hypocritical of myself if I couldn't get a ticket and started moaning about the "day trippers" if I haven't attended a good percentage of games beforehand. I'll watch it on ESPN and let those who have been following the reds more often enjoy their day out. You Reds!
I've had a season ticket for 18 years. This is the first season I've had to go without due to financial constraints. I've been to several games this season, including Hull City away in the FA Cup, and MK Dons also. There is nothing more I'd love than to watch my beloved Reds run out at the Etihad against the Champions of England, but I will have to cross my fingers and hope there are some tickets available when they go on sale to centenary members, otherwise, I'll be crying back the tears as I watch avidly on ESPN...
Last time we had a cup run was only time for ages I didn't get a ST, cant remember why. Didnt stand a chance for Liverpool. Had to queue at crack of dawn for Chelsea tickets and ended up sat on the very highest row at Wembley thinking if we win Ive no chance of a ticket for the final. Had a ticket ever since
Really hope you're taking the p!ss mate, otherwise I'll have to do some Liam Neesan style damage to you
I did go to man utd game in cup other year but can not remember if that was before or after wembley for life of me.i have not got the money or the interest to go all the time so i just go to the big games. all my family are seaon ticket olders so am not a glory seeker
Man Utd was 2009...oh well, at least you've got the audacity to admit it, have a good time. You can't have seen us win very often if you only go to these type of matches.
