After sitting back and thinking about nardiello a little i am going to try and defend him slightly.

We have a problem at the minute because if we continue to play a luxury player like nardiello we need to change our play to create chances for him. He plays off the last defender alot comes wide to find space and what do we do play it long and high???

Yes he looks uninterested at times but i reckon hes just damn frustrated at the lack of service.

If we are to continue to play as we are at the minu we cant play him we need to play one of the other 3 workers and not so much a taelnted goalscorer.

Be honest if we had a competition with all the strikers one on ones and half chances nads would hands down.

Hate to say it but I agree!

We aren't playing to Nads' strengths. All this crap long ball stuff isn't good for either Nads or Macken. Has to be largely down to the fact Anderson is out, defenders now don't feel they have anyone to pass it to, and so resort to playing the long ball

Good to see someone knows about what they are watching. Instead of the "let's get OJ in 'cos he puts imsen abart" ***** usually spouted on here.

Still think OJ looked a greater threat then when Nads has played (from what I've seen against WBA, Liverpool, Norwich and Weds) apart from the WBA game where Nads did play well.

OJ certainly looks better when Ive seen him lately than he did a few months ago

OJ is improving but the more we play him the more we will play long ball if we are to improve and win games again we have to play our game a little more and get nads playing off the defender and start to get leon, and howard feeding him asap or he will start to look ejected again.

He lost him way when ritchie was here because we started to play long ball, davey came in got best out of him using him as the main threat now hes gone back to a ritchie style with the long ball to the big man??

I think as good as OJ is in the air (well...in that he's tall enough to win most headers), I think he could suit a style more like what we played earlier in the season - more of a passing game. He could benefit from balls played into the channels (like at Norwich away). It's too easy to look at him as being a big lad, and just hoof it forwards.

I still don't think Davey's instructing them to play it long all the time, I just think we panic too much when we have the ball in defence and just look to get rid asap

    Lol fook off

I have been to other games too though, they're just the recent ones. I've done pretty well since Christmas I think considering the distance/severe debt I'm in after uni!

Saturday cost me a fortune to watch 2 **** teams in the cold!

    Bang on!

I don't mean anyone in particular on here, but it really is pointless arguing with some because all they can see is that he is doing nothing. They don't want to examine WHY he's been performing well below par.

Feed high / long balls to Michael Owen and I think you may get the same. Come to think of it..........
