I never joined in the debates about which manager we should get when the clown finally goes, partly cos I couldn't think of any decent candidates, however, last nights games got me thinking. So, can I throw into the hat my two candidates ?

    Gary McAllister

Stuart Gray (managaing a good footballing side who apparantly murdered Sunderland at times last night. And links to the Reds to boot)

Oh, and another thing. If Swansea playthat kind of footie against us, they will murder us. We are so disjointed that they will rip us to pieces. They pummelled Cardiff last night (sorry Bluebird, but .......) and looked a really decent outfit. Some of the quick passing was breathtaking.

    I bid you good morning.

Quick passing, movement and pace. We have none of that at the moment. If we play a decent side the way davey's sending the team out currently we'll get tanked.

    Happy pills nurse.

As if McAllister would leave Leeds to come to Barnsley ..

.......... more chance of getting Alex Ferguson. You are right about Swansea though, very impressive last night.

Now that Martinez is a good manager ------ Martinez or Davey??? Tough call that one :D

    Martinez would be brill.

Plays football the way it should be played, and all his players played with a smile and looked as though they were enjoying themselves.

Stuart Gray is seemingly playing a similar way !

Happy Pills - this 'll cheer you up

What do the Reds need just when we could do with scraping a couple of results ???

Games against bogey teams, that's what we need ...

    Roll on Norwich & Donny

    Pass me the Prozac

    Very good manager in fairness

No arguements from me about the game last night, the better side deservedly won. We didn't turn up at all & that's really unacceptable.

Dave Jones treated the game too lightly imo and make no mistake, the fans feelings will be shown against Brum at Ninian on Saturday.

Thought you could`ve killed the game in first 20 mins.

Off to the library with the brandy and a revolver.

For what it's worth, in my opinion the sacking/replacing of Davey wouldn't make any difference because I don't think Barnsley Football Club could attract a suitable calibre of manager to take us forwards.

    Who would do the sacking?

Or the hiring? Who is running the club?

    There's nothing so stimulating

    As a well argued debate.
Apart from a pair of large breasts. And a pert bottom. And a stunning pair of legs.

I may be gone for a while.

    I don't know.

The last thing I want to do is speculate on the 'behind the scenes' situation at Oakwell.

If we had a decent center forward we may well have done.

Eddie Johnson is possibly the worst center forward I've seen playing for City - and believe me I've seen some dross. Contributes nothing whatsoever. No doubt DJ will say that he's getting used to his new team-mates and improving on his fitness but that just won't wash. Should be on his way back to Fulham immediately.

Only a few players were up for it last night and that's not right ina derby game.
