last night was my first game since the Everton match.

The contrast between the 2 is probably the biggest I've ever seen.

    1. the crowd - against Everton the atmosphere was (understandably) electric, last night was possibly the flattest I've ever experienced at Oakwell since I started going in 1978. Have the regulars been bored into total apathy?

    2. the team - granted there were a lot of changes between the 2 11s but those that did play in both games must have been turned into zombies; no life, no passion, no urgency, not much of anything as far as I could see.

I can't help feeling that point 2 is at least partially due to point 1.

Possibly the worst match experience I can ever recall and there've been some bad 'uns down the years.

That was the loudest in three home games. 3 songs. Only 1 in last two. It's dead
