I didn’t go yesterday, in fact I haven’t been all season, because of illness so can’t comment on the performance (or lack of). What I can say is: We have brought in players who may be good given time, but we haven’t got time if we want to stay in this division. We are struggling to get consistent results to keep us 4th from bottom (which was the target set for the season). What has happened to the players that battled last season and won promotion, the same ones who tried so hard earlier this? The team spirit that was so evident now appears dead and buried. If any /all of the rumours that are going round are correct, then about half of the best players are going to leave at the end of the season. Their contracts are up, and I can’t see them wanting to play when it seems some aren’t wanted anyhow and others are not being allowed to play (in their position or just play). Even some of the fans, that have turned up for years because BFC is THEIR club, are already staying away at the moment and others will not return next season. Yesterday was supposed to be a day to grab the attention of the next generation of fans, from what I can gather it has put quite a few off going again. I know this season was always going to be tough, but “WE” are not helping ourselves. Players and fans already seem to have geared up for life in Division 1. Booing players isn’t going to help their confidence but they get paid to perform and play football. Easy way to stop the fans booing is to get stuck in and give the fans a reason to cheer instead - Fans pay to be entertained. I hope that “WE” can still turn this season round but it is very difficult to see how.
Exactly ff Stick to what you know... history, physics, the history of earth, fractions, nuclear science, etc. etc. but leave football to the us real professionals (NOOO)
