bloody long day whitey, time to take stock when this season finishes. 3 and half years without missing an away game and bugger all to show from majority of away games. need to show more desire in winable games
Funny you should say that - we were sat at Ipswich yesterday discussing how over the past 3 - 4 years we must have been 50+ away matches and seen around 10 (if that!) wins which is pretty dire. We enjoy the day out but the football on the away games isn't the main thing anymore - it's the social aspect. At the start of the season we were great away from home - Birmingham, Derby, Reading, Leeds, Peterborough etc... were all fantastic and I remember thinking how we'd never looked so competitive on the away games but as Whitey says it's 7 away defeats in a row now, 6 without scoring. Just had a look at our away record since promotion to the Championship - makes for grim reading! Played: 135 Won: 27 Drawn: 30 Lost: 78 Goals For: 127 Goals Against: 243 Goal Difference: -116
