Draw would have been fair result IMO, we definitly did NOT deserve to lose, WHU had a Penalty shout (And IMO & People round me) it was a stone wall penalty, how the Ref or Linesman didnt see is beyond me
Addison and Edwards impressed me most
We didnt have any width at all, we tried to play through middle so many times

Yep he did, won everything tbh and did a couple of goal saving tackles. Butts tried too much yet again, dunno why he cant do simple pass instead of trying fancy stuff

Very generous for Mr Butterfield he was about a 5... he shyed out of challenges... and again tried doing far to much when all what was needed was a simple pass...

    Thanks for that Tyke.
Although, I would ask where were Addison and Edwards for the goal? I take it Butterfield was marking Diop..?
And Ranger, getting a 4, he sounded like a 4 on the radio so I am right to keep asking Lord Hill, why?
Start Danny Haynes please, a saleable asset, rather than Ranger, a send-back-able ass...

According to Barnsley Player comms, Jay Mac was supposed to be marking Diop.

    Thanks.
    Usually good in the air.
So do we expect Foster, Hassell and O'Brien to miss out again?
Id give them a week off. Because any injuries in midfield and we are up the poop chute

Aye it was Jay Mac marking PBD, who had a brilliant game. Jay didnt even attempt to clear the ball.
I agree with the above, Edwards played well, also thought Wiseman had a good game.
I think every Tarn fan shits there sen when the ball is played to Addison, he looks 41 not 21, he looks immobile, however he was probably our MOM today, had a really good game.
Butterfield once again tried to do too much, Perkins was his normal self (Jack Russell)
I thought both Davies and Ranger didn't particularly hold the ball
Up well and Vaz Te was mediocre.

Of 500 there today, 100 were black. Players family and friends?

Butterfield was terrible yesterday, created nothing and failed to put in a decent corner. Davies had his worst game for us and he had the touch of a Conference player.

That's right but Steele should have saved it. A keeper should be off his line using his hands for anything inside his own six yard box, knowing any contact on him would be the usual foul on the keeper.

Have to disagree with the seeming consensus on Addison having had a good game, especially with the contrast with Butterfield. Progress constantly broke down when the ball was at his feet. He made some headed clearances, but he moved in about 20 square yards of pitch. But his touch invited pressure. Same for Ranger who was truly awful.

Watching the strikers warm up before the game was telling. Davis finished time and again in the warm up drills. Vaz Te finished mostly (though showboating), O'Brien did well and then you had Haynes who couldn't be bothered and missed most of the time and Ranger who probably converted about 10% of his efforts.

Butterfields delivery for the Edwards header was quality, and in the second half when he had two west ham players on him, flicked it behind both, carried the ball forward 30 yards and split the west ham defence with a great pass that just evaded the forward (think it was Haynes). And if people don't think he grafts, he ran 60-70 yards from his own half to cover late in the game. No doubt if he kicked opponents up in the air he'd get criticised.
