Just my opinion Steele 8- unbelievably was quite busy, especially in the 2nd half. but his defence put pressure on him more than the opposition did. Kozluk 5- Was poor again, not sure what he is contributing to the side at the moment, got beaten way to easily on several occasions. Hassell 7- Consistent as usual, a few communication errors with Potter on a couple of occasions but looked solid. Foster 6- Won everything in the air, but a couple of times he hoofed the ball n the air, on one occasion it went behind him as a result. Potter 7- Stepped up to the plate well, maybe not enough to keep Darren Moore out, or Thompson for that matter, but is starting to look good. JCR 5- Constantly ran at players, then slowed down, did two or three step overs then lost the ball, only one player in a reds shirt was worse. Hammill 7- Started off well, got quieter as the game went on, should have scored at least once, but he was an improvement on Devaney Anderson 4- Some may think that is harsh, but he really was woeful for me. I can think of about 16 poor passes he made tonight that put us under pressure Butterfield 7- was really playing on his own in the middle because ADS was that bad. Should have scored, but at least he made the keeper work a bit. Macken 6- Not the worst of showings by Macken, could have scored, but was rightly taken off for Boggy later on Odejayi 6- Was looking more like the KO of last season, won the ball in the air, but was shoking in front of goal, could have had about 4. SUBS (don't ask me why he was only a sub, only Davey knows that) Bogdanovic 7- had 3 chances, scored 1 after about 5 minutes on the pitch, easy a 15-20 goal a season man if he's given the chance. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SIMON, START BOGGY ON SATURDAY.
Think you have them all spot on really, Hassell was poor imo, 5 for him from me. Butterfield maybe 7.5
just my opinion archey but i think ur miles off in your judgement of ADS. As well as being his usual neat, tidy and composed self, i thought that he looked more mobile than last season and put his foot in more than normal - regaining posession on a number of occasions. He certainly tired towards the end of the game but overall did as well as anybody (apart from Boggy). Also, until the last 5-10 mins Foster didnt win a header all night. That was credit to their striker rather than a problem with Fozzy, but i didnt think the skipper had his best of games and definitely didnt win everything in the air. Just my opinion like - suppose we all see things differently!
