9 steele outstanding, back four really comfortable with him in goal 8 hassell did everything expected of him, how good was it to see him go round robinho 1st half 9 foster same old from the skipper, irreplaceable 8 moore not a favourite of mine, but defended very well 8 kozluk looks fitter than last season 6 devaney, sorry but not good enough if we want to step up 9 butterfield very creative, but will davey have the balls to pick him in the championship next week 8 oneil covered very well, but with colace and anderson isn't going to play midfield. 6ft 19 and didn't win many headers! 8 jcr did what jcr does, needs more of the ball 6 oddjob missed a sitter, too lightweight 5 macken too slow subs 7 boggy fantastic finish 6 hume just great to see him on the pitch. in summary we need hammill and a big striker to play alongside boggy. also a centre half and a couple more players for cover at least
There was the penalty incident Free header from 2 yards, but he was pushed and it was a blatant pen (IMO and that of many around me). Can't remember any other "sitter". Thought he has a decent game all in all.
The ever optimistic ryhilltyke probably means when he got round Given.. ..but couldn't get it onto his right foot.
the header, and then the miss control when at the left of their penalty area was **** scared of using his left foot
just saying it as it is. not good enough and he never will be. scored against non league teams so that's ok for some
Wouldn't call that a sitter, but fair enough... Still think he had a decent game though. If he had been a trialist that no-one had heard of with no past reputation to go on, I reckon most people would have been fairly impressed. Crowd certainly got behind him today.
RE: just saying it as it is. not good enough and he never will be. scored against non league teams I really wish people would get off his back and let the lad have a fresh start. If that was the first time you'd seen him today you'd have been praising him. He held the ball up well, won everything in the air and put in a decent shift. Give the man a chance.
There's no way you could call that header a sitter seeing as he was blatantly shoved in the back.
There ain't a striker on earth could have scored that because of the foul.

RE: the header, and then the miss control when at the left of their penalty area It should have been a penalty, shoved in back. I reckon Odejayi had a decent game. Put himself about and held the ball up. Agree with most of your ratings but you have been harsh on KO. I don't think Macken and Devaney were that bad too, Disco had a decent first half.
ryhill tyke talks utter ***** , go watch the fowls you proceed to lambast the lad at every oppurtunity...unwarranted based on pre-season performances
maken 5 Oddjob 6 and JCR 8!!!! JCR was pushed off all the time, poor ratings them mate Oddjob a 7 and maken a 7 for me and JCR 7 too
Absolute garbage is a bit strong. He makes a contribution and has had a couple of outstanding games since he has been with us - consistently dissappoints with his finishing though. That being said we've had much much worse (even in recent memory). Absolute garbage is over the top.
I think colace and de silva should be looking over there shoulders with the way oneil and butterfield played today, i thought the midfield looked effective where as games sometimes pass colace and de silva by.
We've had a lot worse in recent times The same people who say Oddjob is the worst striker we've ever had are the same folk that reckon Davey is the worst manager we've ever had - properly bizarre
