The only rating I'd change would be Steele and I'd give him a 9 along with JOB and Perkins. I think Jim just edged the man of the match though.

Steele - excellent penalty stop and several key saves throughout the game
Wiseman - Constantly lost Koren & Dudgeon when they pushed up in the first half and fortunate not one of their crosses weren't turned in. He improved in the second half probably after Hill made him aware of Hulls left side being left with oceans of room everytime they attacked.
Foster & McNulty - Shouldn't allow strikers to run at them 30/40 yards whilst back peddling to their own area, especially McLean, good job he pulled several shots wide. They coped with everything in the air until Adebola came on.
McEverly - One of his best games in a Barnsley shirt and playing really well these last few games, did everything he needed to do and defended well.
O'Brien - Gave it is all again, decent display a tad lucky at times when he mis-controlled the ball but still wrong footed his marker, different player this season.
Perkins - Hills best transfer, what we were missing in the first half against Bristol, closed his man down and didnt give too much of the ball away against a good Hull midfield
Drinkwater - thought he was a yard behind Hulls midfield, fortunate to get a shot of for the goal after some bad control by the Hull defender and Basso should have easily saved his shot.
Butterfield - in and out of the game again, which is good if anyone was watching him.
Davies - terrible first touch and clearly doesn't look match fit yet, although Hill said he's looking "sharp" should have been replaced by Vaz Te much earlier and maybe the ball wouldn't have come back so quick in the second half. Still yet to see this pace of his, didn't really trouble Hobbs with any, but he got his goal and hopefully there's more to come.
Gray - another good performance and he got his goal, unfortunate with the one that hit the post, had a bit of help up front last night and it showed.

An excellent game to watch, we had our chances, Gray hitting the post, Davies trickler cleared off the line but we also rode our luck in the second half and we could have quite easily have come out with a point. I think Hull we be around the play off places this season so an excellent 3 points towards safety.
