However ill advised GS was for coming out (not in a gay type of way) last night I do think he had balls to say what he said. Its not easy in his position to let people know what he is doing - but he did, and for that he should be applauded. In Andy Ritchie will have a manager who is good at motivation and team building. However in Andy Ritchie we have a manager who does know his arse from his elbow and he is unable to notice that he is pressing quite hard on the self destruct button. In Andy Ritchie we have a very good ASSISTANT MANAGER, but a very poor First Team Manager. We need a new view on things down at Oakwell, and Ritchie is unwilling to see any view other than his own. David Jones, not good enough for Barnsley, but good enough for Preston who are 2nd in the division to pay £1m for him.... enough said. I would have liked to have seen Andy go away on good terms. In the record books he is the manager to take us up - however if he stays in charge until Xmas he will be in the fans eyes as the manager who takes us back down.

And we couldnt have just got him on loan before Preston's interest? Isnt he one of the players GS said AR didnt want because he wouldnt improve the side?
