find out yesterday we are sitting with the wednesday fans on the touchline next to the dugouts. never again am i doing that, but then what did i expect we made loads of noise and did the lads proud. togwell was immense, as was hassell thought kay was also fantastic devaney worked his balls off sturrock is actually really small and fatter up close, he also says **** all on the touchline ritchie seems to have a really good relationship with all the players, but brian howard was doing his head in at times i nearly got beaten up by a wednesday fan at halftime for saying come on reds all wednesday fans were in agreement that barnsley played em off park. think we will stay up, by a whisker wednesday will go down, poorest side i have seen this year
Wednesday will stay up because..... unlike us they will bring in players, how they can with their debt is beyond me but you see. We on the other hand will do the proverbial "fiddle as Rome burns" and hope it comes good.....I predict no new faces at Oakwell and Relegation
Wrong there Baz I work with Wednesdayites and all I get is moans because that tight Barsteward Allen won't put his hand in his pocket, and how Luggy is working with both hands tied behind his back. It's a bit like sitting next to you all day.
Wendy to be relegated..............but they beat us !!! So where do's that leave Barnsley ?????????? Wendy are £30 million in debt, no money but will bring players in We haven't much debt but Shep wants to get us into the black so we won't bring players in
RE: Worrying, isn't it? Too good to go down but points win prizes! What worries me is that the players will leave as they will see what they percive is a lack of ambition. Unless we get them signed up and keep this team together, it will all fall apart come January or the Summer. It worries me sick.
I have to agree.... .... I was sat not far behind you (back of that stand) and have to agree that if wednesday continue like that they will go down. However, I think we will stay up if we continue to give performances like that.
RE: Worrying, isn't it? Too good to go down but points win prizes! And there we have it. The chairman was quoted in the press this week as saying that he could not see why contracts needed to be negotiated early as he never has done in any other business. Football is a bit different Gordon. If people do well, other clubs want them. FACT.
According to a few TARN fans sat in the Wendy end....... There was going to be a demonstration after the match Wendy fans in the kop only sang once and that was 2 minutes into extra time It seems that Brunt has saved Sturrocks job
