    Firslty player ratings.....

6 - PREECE, showed good ditribution throughout and made a decent save. A few shaky moments, sliced kick and collecting a back pass that the ref missed. Saying that thought he did ok and was not a fault for either goal.
6 - HASSELL, did what was asked of him today but like the other never got out of 2nd gear*
    6 - FOSTER, *
6 - MOORE, * looks fitter and leaner than last season, and distribution was improved today.
    6 - KOZLUK, * Hope injury isn't to serious.
6 - COLACE,* was missed in the second half.
6 - ANDERSON,* skillful on the ball but needs to produce more in the final third.
    6 - DEVANEY, *
5 - EL HAIMOUR, did ok but crossing was hit and miss and didn't get in the game.
5 - MACKEN, tracked back to help midfield and worked hard defensively but looked off the pace and missed 3 sitters.
7 - BOGGY, looked sharp and unlucky not to score.

    Subs:
7 - POTTER, worked hard in defence and broked forward well. First time I've seen him get a proper run out. Looks a good prospect.
7 - RNL, showed some great touches and looked very comfortable on the ball. Looking forward to seeing more of him.
7 - KO, great finish for goal and worked hard up front muscling defenders off the ball and creating chances. Missed a chance at the end but well done for today.
8 - SODJE, looked lively, very quick, and never gave up. Good performance topped off by a goal and an assist.
6 - J.ADAM, didn't see to much of the ball but looked lively when he did and showed great pace.
1 - CHANOT, looked nervous and created panic in the defence in his short time on the pitch. GET RID NOW!!

Overall I was pretty pleased, promising signs from the younsters. good turn out from the fans and good to see STAN back, wish it was in a reds shirt. Very impressed with young Sodje, also fel the Goalie did ok and I'd offer the goalkeeper a short term deal. Squad still needs work but SD knows that and is on the case looking to strengthen, or at least I hope he is.

By the way does anyone know what the Dutch winger (currently on trial) didn't play today?

The Dutch winger stopped Amos an me on Donny Road..

...and asked us the way to the players' car park. At twenty to three!</p>

Don't think SD would have been too pleased when he rolled up.
