If we can play so poorly and win then theres hope in this poor, poor division. 1st Half was utter tedium. Hayes & Richards were particularly woeful. 2nd Half saw some improvement but to be honest the goal was the onoly decent move of the entire game.

Flinders..6 Made a couple of good stops but spills an easy ball to concede

    Austin 5.5 Steady
Hassell 7 A good game for Bobby both at RB and CH MOM contender.
Carbon 6 steady away until early retirement.
Kay 5.5 Did OK but distribution is terrible. A **** up or too also.
Devaney 6.5 Looked the most dangerous man on the pitch (not difficult)well taken goal.
Howard 6 looked OK but cant remember owt incisive.
Burns 5.5 Not one of his best.
Shuker 6.5 good effort again from shukes. 100%.
Richards 5.5 terible. Lacks pace, ability etc. Turned well though in box to win and score pen.
Hayes 5.5 steady away for Hayes. Lacks most of the things we need in a striker. Provided a good cross for devaney to score.

    Wroe 4.5 Awful.
Williams 6 Did what was necessary...worked hard.

Overall..Piss poor but 3 points and up to 5th. Do I expect too much? I hope not. If richtea claims we did well someone ought to drup some reality juice in his tea FFS.

    Can't fault that

Fortunately Tranmere had less of a clue than we did, but they are a team who traditionally try to play football and didn't seem to have anything else in the locker.

Play like that against Scunny and we'll get muscled out of it.

    Pretty much seconded.
All round dismal display.  Blushes spared by some absolute comedy Tranmere finishing.
But when we last won a promotion we had a poor spell or two.  It's picking points up during these poor spells that makes all the difference.
