Feel free to rip it bits.

    Turnbull

    Bree Brown Nyatanga Dudgeon

    RNL Cranie Hourihane Treacy

    Lita Winnall

I thought Brown had a solid game on Saturday but he looks like a CB to me, and a decent one. We need a proper RB and this cup game is a perfect opportunity to test Bree, if he performs he can play against the same team on Saturday. Cranie can move into midfield, I'm in the camp that he is probably our best player but I honestly think his best position is DM. He has the ability to play in there and has played in there. 2 proper wingers, and RNL deserves his chance in an attacking position, and with Jennings out now is the chance, in a game that doesn't really matter. Lita and Winnall will be our 1st choice IMO (not seen Hemmings so can't comment on him) so let's get them playing together.

Not a bad shout. I think Turnbull is still injured though, so Davies will be in goal. Got a feeling he'll keep the team/shape as Saturday with Lita in for Rose & Treacy in for Jennings.

Does anyone know whether we have permission from Hull to play Dudgeon tomorrow night?

I like the look of that, but I'd have Digby in there and rest Hourihane.

Good point, hadn't even thought of that. And I haven't a clue. As usual.

I doubt Bree will be starting games any time soon - isn't he only 16? More likely to see Cranie at RB and Brown in centre than that I'd have thought.
Nana might get the nod on the wing - been in good form, whereas I get the feeling RNL hasn't impressed recently. Unless Treacy is fit?

Lita will probably start it fit enough.

I could see him staying with Hourihane and Bailey in the centre as that will probably be our main pairing this season.

Again though, I don't know anything!

Cranie at centre mid? Thats new but i reckon he could pull it off with some of the forward runs he made on Satdi, plus he can win headers which our other CM's struggled with. Completely agree about Brown, solid defensively but i dont think i saw make a forward pass! That team looks spot on, mind

Why should anybody be "rested" after 90 mins football. Its match fitness they need. To be aiming for not a rest.

How do you know what the team would be by seeing a training session? I saw Brown and Winnall about 12-12.30pm at Oakwell so im assuming they trained.

Because having seen him in pre season and on Saturday I've been very impressed by him and wouldn't be against saving him for the more important Crewe game. Nowt to do with fitness. Everything to do with not losing him to injury in a cup competition that we're unlikely to get far in.

If he plays, great. I was just putting it out there.
