In the few days since Keith went my thoughts have changed about who our manager should be. I was all for SOD and to be honest would still be reasonably happy with him. However I am now sitting in the Billy davies camp. I am usually optimistic but I do think the likelihood this year is we will be relegated. I think the only chance we may have is to go route one and just kick our way to some victories. More importantly I think he would give us the best chance to come back if and when we do go down. I think he would also be more likely to attract better quality players. It,s easy for me to say as i don't go to as many games as I used to but i'm at a stage where I do not care how we play for a while, I just want to win

Didn't put him in poll because didn't think he'd want it. If he applies would be a very strong candidate.

My impure thoughts exactly. Though not sure Billy Davies is the way to go. My best bet for a total assault job would be to drag Harry Bassett back for a final battle.

I feel like I've just had a pop at somebody when drunk - I'm not like that but he was asking for it!

Maybe he is out of our price range, I don't know. He doesn't seem to be getting any other offers though and he certainly will not get a premier job. Depends how much he wants to get back into management.

I honestly don't think he'd come to us purely because of the size of the transfer budget we (can't) offer him. He moaned and moaned and moaned about not having enough money at Forest despite spending millions!

A valid idea was floated on Radio DeeDar that SOD would be a decent bet to help us stay up and be the best bet to get us promoted after relegation!

What about Owen Coyle? He doesn't seem to have been mentioned much and would be a good fit for us, although perhaps he could get a better job.

Without a doubt coyle would be a great contender but I think he has still got a good enough reputation to get a top championship job, not sure Billy Davies stock is so high. I would be very happy with that.
