Golbourne - He better be better at full back because he is god awful on the wing. Dagnell - Offers nothing McNulty - Why pass a ball to a teammate when you can piss around dribbling into or passing to the opposition? Steele - Just put your foot through the bloody thing McEveley - I hope he watches the olympics in the summer and decides to embark on a new career as a pole vaulter or something because he certainly isn't a footballer. Gray - Please retire and leave it to the under 50's.
Craig Davies - Have you fallen out wi O'Brien? your allowed to pass to him, stop trying to do it all yourself
some of his signings are for future reference dagnall, goldbourne, done etc need to be given more time to adapt tbh. a few good signins in loan market needed untill they ready though.
Did anyone click on this thread expecting any positive comments about any of our players? No? Thought not.
A lot of them. Steele, Hassell, Foster, Edwards, McNulty, Wiseman, Doyle, Perkins, Smith, O'Brien, Done, Davies, Gray. Off the top of my head.
Golbourne - He was out of position so he's got a good excuse but a winger he is not. Dagnell - Can only comment on what i've seen so far which is him doing not a lot. McNulty - Bloody good player with just one flaw (that he hangs on to the ball too long) Steele - Best keeper in the league but bad kicking yesterday. McEveley - No comment Gray - Good heart but past it. I like him but he only works in the right kind of game where our midfield and defence play to his strengths, otherwise he's a statue.
My original was based more on yesterdays game than my general feelings about the players. I know people think that I don't rate McNulty because I say that he is poor on the ball but that couldn't be further than the truth. My ONLY criticism of him is that he holds on to it for too long and if that's the only thing I can think of thats bad about a defender then it must mean he's bloody good at defending. I'm not sure what's going on with Steele's kicking lately because while it's never been good he's also never had trouble getting it up the pitch but yesterday it was onl going about 30 yards.
Glad to see you being more positive. I like McNulty - yes, occasionally he holds onto the ball too long, but its generally because he's looking to find a useful pass to get us moving. He did a very admirable job 2nd half when he was completely out of position - think he's a very useful player to have.
Super tyke why the **** do you watch Barnsley or football in general cos all you do is moan and talk *****!!
